Hello my fellow bookworms, I hope you are all well? I am doing pretty well myself, had a twinge of sinus pain mid-week but
it seems to have passed and hopefully it won’t be back! I’m pleased to say the weather has cheered up a bit maybe not warm but atleast it has been lighter during the day, instead of gloomy cloud cover all the time. The change in weather was an extra bonus as I did a few hours at the theme park I for this week. I like the cold when I’m tucked up at home, really not fun if your standing outside all day! Which reminds me I have now booked my holiday to Tenerife for end of April going through into May. So looking forward to warmth, sunshine, and reading by the pool
Time to stop day-dreaming and come back to the reality of this week. I had my belly dancing class on Wednesday, always a bit of fun and takes your mind off gloomy Britain for a bit. I also helped to run the regular drama and film workshop on Thursday which I got involved with through Shoebox Theatre company. I spent a super lazy day with my boyfriend on Friday as we both had the day off, mainly read and watched films. Then Saturday morning I was at my rehearsal for my church’s panto, and in the evening I went to the cinema to see War Horse (2012). In hindsight my week seems far more exciting than it seemed at the time. Today I am off to my grandad’s house for a Sunday dinner (I’m hoping its braised beef, yum), when I’ve eaten as much as I possibly can I will probably then settle down for a spot of reading (of course lol).
So what can you look forward to this week. I would like to get a book review up for Monday, while Wednesday I have a fun post on adaptations lined up, then hope to have my review for War Horse (2012) up for Friday. Plus at some point I need to let you know what new books I’ve borrowed.
What about you? What have you been reading, watching, or doing this week?

I’ve been watching Downton Abbey. Now us unlucky Americans need to wait until next January for season three!! boo!
I LOVE Downton Abbey…hopefully we’ll be getting the third series sometime this year
That sounds like a wonderful week to me! Well, except for the sinus pain. Ouch! I hope you’re feeling better and that the dinner was sufficient for stuffing your belly. Scrolling down on your blog I did see that you reviewed The Hunger Games trilogy and I can only say this: I haven’t read any of them yet, the first book is on my tbr shelf, and so I will not read your review. Must. Be. Strong. Resist the temptation, must.
Aw thank you, it was all lovely except yes the sinuses! Just have to get on with it had the problem since I can remember, get it off my mother, but to be fair could have got migraines like my father. If I had to pick one of the two I think I would rather have sinus pain.
Oooo read The Hunger Games soon! Would be great to compare notes
It sounds like you’ve had a good week, apart from the sinus pain. I went to see War Horse a few weeks ago, so I’ll be interested to read what you thought of it!
Yay, hope you enjoyed War Horse will be interesting to do a comparison on our thoughts about it
