The Classics Club | Spin #24 Result

Last week, The Classics Club announced their 24th Spin event. The idea for which is to list 20 books remaining on our Classics Club lists, numbered 1-20, and the number announced yesterday is the book we have to read by Wednesday, 30th September 2020. So the results are in and our lucky Spin number is:

Which means I will be reading… Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, which I am very happy with, as I loved Around the World in Eighty Days and enjoyed Journey to the Centre of the Earth as well. I will begin reading this once I have finished my current classic read: The Black Corsair by Emilio Salgari.

Now over to you: What do you think of my result? If you’ve ta
ken part, too, what book has the Spin has chosen for you?

  1. I have only read Around the World in Eighty Days, which I loved, but I do want to read more books by Jules Verne. I hope you enjoy this one!

    1. It was reading your thoughts on this, coupled with the fact I’d enjoyed my previous Verne reads so much, that made me add this to my list. So double thank you to you! 😁

  2. I don’t think I ever actually read it, though I know I’ve seen at least one film version. I hope you enjoy it!
