Hello my fellow bookworms, I am excited to bring to you today something new for me and this blog, although I have seen similar posts around on some of your blogs, which have inspired me. So after umming and ahhing for almost a year, I finally treated myself to a Teatime Bookshop subscription for their Vintage Book Box.
What is Teatime Bookshop and a book box I hear you cry?! Well Teatime Bookshop is a wonderful online bookshop that offers subscription book boxes, that help to recycle books, plant trees and bring a little joy each month. All you have to do is:
- Choose your genre
- Select your brew (tea, coffee or hot chocolate)
- Checkout & await delivery
- On arrival, put the kettle on & enjoy your new book
Well my first box arrived and I wanted to share with you what I got! I received two sachets of dark hot chocolate, a packet of ginger biscuits, a bookmark, a postcard and a smart, hardback copy of the vintage mystery The Land God Gave to Cain by Hammond Innes. Not an author I have heard of before, but after looking it up on Goodreads, it does sound like a book I would like. I am so pleased with my first box and I already can’t wait for my next one!
Now I’d love to hear from you: Do you like what I got? Have you read anything by Hammond Innes? Are you signed up for any book boxes?
