β˜• My 1st Teatime Bookshop Book Box πŸ“¦

Hello my fellow bookworms, I am excited to bring to you today something new for me and this blog, although I have seen similar posts around on some of your blogs, which have inspired me. So after umming and ahhing for almost a year, I finally treated myself to a Teatime Bookshop subscription for their Vintage Book Box.

What is Teatime Bookshop and a book box I hear you cry?! Well Teatime Bookshop is a wonderful online bookshop that offers subscription book boxes, that help to recycle books, plant trees and bring a little joy each month. All you have to do is:

  • Choose your genre
  • Select your brew (tea, coffee or hot chocolate)
  • Checkout & await delivery
  • On arrival, put the kettle on & enjoy your new book

Well my first box arrived and I wanted to share with you what I got! I received two sachets of dark hot chocolate, a packet of ginger biscuits, a bookmark, a postcard and a smart, hardback copy of the vintage mystery The Land God Gave to Cain by Hammond Innes. Not an author I have heard of before, but after looking it up on Goodreads, it does sound like a book I would like. I am so pleased with my first box and I already can’t wait for my next one!

Now I’d love to hear from you: Do you like what I got? Have you read anything by Hammond Innes? Are you signed up for any book boxes?Β

    1. Haha Nikki, I should probably get through my own books first too – hence the year umming and ahhing for a year – but then I thought I don’t have any vintage books! πŸ˜‰

  1. This sounds like so much fun! You got some good things in your first box. I do the Field Notes quarterly subscription, but not any other kind of box. Something like this would be awfully tempting…

I look forward to your next box!

  2. I think these boxes are a lovely idea. I’ve read about them on other blogs too, but haven’t tried them myself. I hope you enjoy the book and the other treats!

  3. I ordered one of their boxes too. I thought the prices were fantastic and loved the elemtn of surprise with not knowing what book you were getting. My first box is due to arrive any day now. So pleased you enjoyed yours.
